Focus

We always have a family night with prayer and activities on Monday night. This Monday was like every other, hard to settle the kids down to get started. Brandon had asked Anna to give our opening prayer when we were done with our song. She started, but was wiggling and stopping and starting. Brandon said, "Anna, take a big breath and start over. Just focus on what you are saying. Okay? Focus." Evan pipes up, saying, "Okay, Focus. Speed, I am Speed. One winner, 42 losers. I eat losers for breakfast. Ready? Oh, yeah, Lightnings ready!" For any of you who might not have it memorized, this is how the movie 'Cars' starts, almost exactly. Needless to say, the kids were no longer settled. We were all cracking up and Evan had the cutest little half smile as he finished. I wish I could of gotten it on tape, but I did get a few pictures of how wonderful the snack was.
